Welcome

We decided to start this blog with the hope that it might be an encouragement to everyone participating in this Challenge. Reading about how others are coping or feeling will hopefully help you to realize you are not alone. Everyone is facing difficulties on some days and great success on others.

Please use the comment section to share your struggles, triumphs or tips that you’re learning along the way. This blog is for YOU, so please comment as often as you’d like and if you have any questions, just ask and we'll do our best to answer them.

We are so proud of each of you for taking this important first step to a healthier lifestyle. Good luck to everyone!

  1. What can I say about Day 4? Well, I've been trying to eat healthy and maintain my calories. I have not done so well in the exercising catergory due to me having an enormous paper due today! YAY for me finishing it! I'm hungry all the time and I'm going for healthier options but I would love to eat a big bag of chips, a candy bar, and some ice cream...LOL! I'm hanging in there though and I hope you are too!

  2. Hey Everybody,
I am so glad that "The Biggest Loser" got started. It has really made me want to get out there and do it. I think I can. No I KNOW I can this time. I have my own personal trainer, my skinny sister-in-law, Reena. She really keeps me hopping. I started the "Sugar Busters" way of eating and so far it is working.
    LETS DO IT!
    Debbie

  4. I am doing well, just wishing we could've weighed in a little sooner! I had my baby girl on April 8 and by the time we weighed in I had lost 25 pounds. I guess that's better for the other teams...:) I still have a little to go so I'm going to be a help to my crew, whether it's losing my last 15 or being a motivator! I have to eat healthy because I'm nursing my daughter so that part has been easy. I have to take an Army Physical Fitness test in June, so I have that goal as well. It helps to have goals besides looking great by the pool. We will all feel better about ourselves after this, that's for sure. That's always a good thing!

  5. My husband has been trying to get me off the couch for far too long......Tuesday, after weigh in on Monday, afternoon I went for a mile walk..Huge accomplishment! :) I did the on thinkable today and asked a seasoned walker to walk with me at the city park while our kids were at practice. We get half way thru with the first lap and she said, "We'll get in 3 laps". I was already to say "Thanks for walking this lap with me" and then had to say "OH, OK" I endured thru and got in three laps and I am now a believer that all YOU NEED TO DO IS GET UP AND GET MOTIVATED.

Thanks for putting this all together

  6. I am doing the Sugar Buster diet too as well. It has been great so far, besides the headaches. I have been so motivated to start walking again. I was very proud of myself yesterday. Debbie, Reena, Tina, and I, along with baby Braxton walked the courthouse hills and steps yesterday. I carried him up the Upper Catlett steps yesterday. I then strolled him up and down the hills of courthouse. I just knew that I would be really sore this morning, but I am not. I FEEL GREAT!!!
